The plus side is that there is no installation. The downside is that it’s difficult to get into a house that is already finished and they tend to not be the cheapest price and will cost more in shipping fees.
Installing Show Wall Panels
There is an installation process for these panels. The first steps will be to clean up the area completely as well as look for any leaks that there might be. These leaks need to be fixed before panels are installed else the moist area will gradually rot overtime causing more problems in the future.
Most panels use a tongue and groove system where they will lock into place with the panel next to it. It’s not a complicated process as they are meant to work with each other easily.
Once done most panels require a seal which is good practice. Be sure to use a silicone sealant to caulk all the seams. This will keep moisture from building up between or under panels.
